Shoppers looking for locally made gifts and handcrafted goods can mark their calendars for the annual Made Around Here Market in Jonesborough.

The craft show is scheduled for Friday and Saturday, November 6 and 7, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. each day, according to WJHL.

The event will be held at the Historic Jonesborough Visitors Center, 117 Boone Street.

A showcase for local creativity

Organizers expect nearly 100 craft vendors and makers, offering visitors a chance to browse work from the region's creative community.

The show arrives as residents begin planning holiday shopping and looking for distinctive gifts.

For vendors, markets of this kind provide an opportunity to connect directly with customers and other makers.

Before visiting

Visitors should check the town's current event listing for any changes to hours, parking, admission or vendor participation.

The market is scheduled for the following week, so this article serves as an advance preview rather than a report that the event has already taken place.

It offers a timely addition to Tri-Cities Daily's upcoming local events coverage.
